City of Brandon- Downtown Project

Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC was tasked with providing construction engineering and inspection services for the client throughout the construction of the project.  Benchmark ensured that the new construction adequately joined the existing structures and older infrastructure that was to remain in place as well as providing contract management including but not limited to pay requests, change orders, and /or supplemental agreements. This project rehabilitated four streets in the Downtown Brandon area and converted them to one-way traffic in order to better control the flow of traffic in the area.  This included but was not limited to the realigning, widening, and additional improvements to Dining Street in Downtown Brandon as well as updating the water system utilities throughout this area. The project also consisted of new ADA sidewalks and pedestrian routes as well as much needed additional parking areas for Downtown Brandon.
