Benchmark Engineering & Surveying Expanding Services with Structural Engineering Division
FLOWOOD, MS — As it prepares to celebrate 20 years of successful operations, Benchmark Engineering & Surveying is excited to announce the addition of Jason McQueen, formally of McQueen Structural Engineering, and his staff to the Benchmark team. Jason brings over 19 years of structural engineering experience to the firm, having been responsible for the design of a wide variety of structural engineering projects throughout the southeast. McQueen received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from Auburn University. Jason will be the Director of Benchmark’s newly created Structural Division from his current location on Hwy 51 in Madison and will continue to provide the same quality structural engineering services as he has throughout his career.
President Greg Bonds said, “We are excited to add Jason and his expertise in structural engineering to Benchmark. I have known and worked with Jason for many years, and he is a perfect match for our team. We feel the addition of structural engineering to the wide array of services that Benchmark provides will be a benefit to many of our clients and hopefully open some new opportunities for Benchmark to continue to grow. Benchmark looks forward to continuing to provide clients with the same quality of service they have come to expect with Benchmark Engineering & Surveying but now in structural engineering as well.”
Bonds also said that he is excited about the opportunity to open an office in the Madison/Ridgeland area to go along with their current offices in Brandon and Flowood. Even though we serve many clients and have provided our services on many projects in the Madison/Ridgeland area, Bonds feels that this new location will give Benchmark a stronger presence in this area and provide an opportunity to expand their client base.

They offer land surveying and civil engineering consulting services for residential and commercial developments, a broad range of municipal engineering services for local cities and counties, and transportation and surveying services for MDOT. The company started with 3 employees and a survey crew and over the last 19 years Benchmark’s staff has grown to include over 35 team members.
