Blake is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and civil engineering professional with over a decade of experience in designing and managing infrastructure and development projects. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2012. Since then, he has cultivated a reputation for excellence through his innovative approach to complex challenges and his commitment to collaboration and project success.
He is a member of the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, LLC, and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
One of the biggest professional challenges Blake has faced is managing large-scale projects where unforeseen issues threaten budgets and timelines. He has overcome these obstacles by applying detailed planning, strategic thinking, and close coordination with teams and stakeholders—skills that have become a hallmark of his approach to engineering.
Among Blake’s proudest achievements is seeing the tangible results of his work—projects that once existed only on paper brought to life through hard work, vision, and perseverance. He finds great fulfillment in contributing to the communities his work serves.
The most impactful piece of advice Blake has received in his career is to remain solution-oriented rather than problem-focused. This mindset has shaped his approach to engineering challenges, helping him stay proactive, effective, and resilient under pressure.
Outside of his professional life, Blake enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and golfing.
