The City of Flowood hired Benchmark Engineering and Surveying to provide professional land surveying and engineering services to widen North Flowood Drive from a two-lane open ditch roadway to a 3-lane curb and gutter roadway. The project also included installing a new 8” water main along North Flowood Drive, making improvements to Medical Parkway by adding a median cut for a new commercial site and making improvements at the intersection with Hwy 468/Flowood Drive. The project is to be constructed under traffic and the roadway is a heavily developed so the traffic control plans required a lot of thought and planning. This project is currently under construction.
