In June of 2020, Benchmark’s staff grew by a few more employees. We would like to welcome Lon Burt and Nicholas Alexander to the Benchmark Team.
Lon is a licensed professional engineer with experience as a consulting engineer at a local firm and most recently as an engineer in MDOT’s Bridge Division. Lon’s duties at MDOT ranged from bridge design to bridge inspection and everything in between. Lon has 8 years of experience and will serve as a Project Manager/Project Engineer. His bridge and previous consulting experience will strengthen services that Benchmark is able to provide to our clients.
Nicholas is a recent college graduate of Mississippi State University. He has passed the fundamentals of engineering exam and will work as an Engineering Intern at Benchmark. Nicholas brings a strong work ethic to the team that will allow us to continue to provide our clients with timely service.
We are excited about the addition of both Lon and Nicholas and look forward to their growth along with the company’s. With their addition, Benchmark’s staff now includes 8 civil engineers, 4 PE’s and 4 EIT’s.
